Playing cards set double
Playing cards come in various types and sizes.
The cards in this category are double decks of 52 playing cards and are what we call standard playing cards, following the bridge format.
Each double set almost always consists of one deck with a red back and one with a blue back.
Bridge cards have a standard width of approximately 57 mm.
This narrower format is no coincidence: in bridge, each player is dealt 13 cards. By making the cards narrower, players can hold them more easily and maintain a clear overview without their hand becoming too wide.
